R. R. Pimenov is a teacher of the Lyceum "Physics and Technology School" by J. I. Alfyorov, St. Petersburg, a member of the Mathematical Society of St. Petersburg, and a poet.
You can read free online (another link) his book "Aesthetic Geometry or Theory of Symmetry" or buy paper version.
The book deals with the relationship between fundamental mathematical concepts and aesthetics. Popularly presents the original concept of symmetry, revealing in a new way the classical sections of geometry.

Teaching the basics of geometry
We propose a method for teaching key mathematical concepts by means of constructing aesthetic images. The method is based on symmetry between circles (inversion). The concept of symmetry between circles can be a cross-cutting element in mathematics education. It will simplify the learning of group theory, non-Euclidean geometries, the concept of limit and many other concepts of higher mathematics.
